love triangle shit can go to hell, I’m scared the next season is just going to be Mako and Korra calling each other pet names while Asami gives bitch glances and everyone forgets about Bolin
i agree completely! that’s what i’m saying! like i feel like asami might (0.9% chance) go like full-time bitch and wreck everything and betrayal ensues blablabla. or she could be completely accepting and move on or s/t idk. bolin didn’t really get much air time in the last couple episodes so that made me sad.
remember on monday when i said that the only spoiler in korra i knew was an apparent grandiose explosion in ep12? well now i know, it wasn’t what i expected in the slightest, in fact the majority of the final episode my mouth stood agape. it was great, although i’m very unsure about how next season will play out.
tl;dr i’m all caught up on korra now, it’s a great show, and go to the nickelodeon to watch the full first season
Kids on the Slope was really fantastic, but mostly I can’t believe how many cliches it went through completely straight-faced and still managed to be fantastic. I mean, it has it all: love triangles, tearful train goodbyes, saving-the-day-through-music scenes…yet it somehow pulled every single one off with considerable emotional power.
I guess it goes to show what you can pull off with consistently energetic direction and a Yoko Kanno soundtrack. It deserves some serious recognition outside of mere anime circles.
